Just an update for everyone.
Kimberly received her first dose of Cytoxan yesterday. Platelets on Monday were < 30K and HMG was 8.2. Dr still has her on 50 mg of prednisone, and 500 mic gram of NPlate. Platelets five days earlier were > 197K. We'll see what happens. Don't expect any positive results for a couple of weeks. In fact he said to expect numbers to drop a bit before things get better.
Has an infusion of verifier next week, another dose the following week, and then a second dose of Cytoxan the week after that.
So far a bit of nausea, slight headache ( probably still from the brain bleed ) but this morning strong pain on her right side. Will check with Dr later regarding the right side pain if it persists.
Fingers crossed. Dr. Has high hopes for this, myself, I'm cautiously and skeptipclly optimistic. I guess we're holding our breath praying no major irreversible side effects crop up given her history.

Will keep the community informed.
In the mean time, when you hit your knees tonight, say a little prayer for her, she need all the good karma she can get.

Thanks
Dad
