High Liver Enzymes with Promacta... What next?

I started my Promacta about a month ago... I was doing fine until a prior blood test revealed a slight elevation in my liver enzymes.... I went back for blood work yesterday and now they are more elevated... my doctor told me to stop Promacta for 1 week and we would start it back up at a loser dose if the liver enzymes went back to normal... If Promacta isn't an option for me... what should I do next? N-Plate, Rituxin? I feel like I am running out of options...

At a 75mg dose of Promacta my platelets have gone from 49 to 139 to 99 yesterday....

So sad that Promacta might not work for me..........I feel like this is really a battle I can't win....

Take it one step at a time. See what happens next week and go from there. It might be possible to lower the Promacta dose since you responded so well. That might also help the liver enzyme problem.

I wouldn't like my liver enzymes elevated either. Lets hope the next test shows them back to normal. Think positive!
