2.5 years after Rituximab was created by kyasseen
Hi All,

About 2 months ago I had some bruising, so went to see the hematologist. Was surprised to learn that my count was 143 :-). My count since having the Rituximab treatment over 2.5 years ago has hovered around 80. So I was surprised with the high count, and also actually worried, that this was the last hurrah! of the immune system before the fall. I had mild flue about two weeks ago, and got blood blisters on the right cheek, was back in the Hospital. By the time I got to the Hospital the blisters had dissipated. The count came back at 153.

So there you have it, I'm getting the best counts ever, after 2.5 years. Something strange happening? Long may it continue.

I say don't look a gift horse in the mouth! When something good happens, that doesn't mean that something bad is sure to follow. Some people have been in remission for years after Rituxan. Good for you!
