In patients with persistent or chronic ITP, a new study appears to show that Danazol has a high effectiveness, with 63% of 103 ITP patients achieving remission with Danazol treatment alone.

Any thoughts?

Yes Rob as I am in the throes of research at present I have read the article and I have also noted that over 60s do quite well on Danazol but I am still wary of the side effects . Even at 68 I am reluctant to grow a beard! Am having another bone marrow biopsy today. Will keep you posted.
