I may be mistaken, because I'm new to Medicare this year; but I think coverage depends entirely on your particular Part D plan's policy, not to Medicare itself. You'd need to check with your Plan D company. If they won't cover it, you could consider switching to a plan that does. You only have until December 7 to do so. CMS.gov has more information about it.
