N-Plate and Increased White Count Question

I have a friend who is on N-Plate - his white count has gone up, and this week they were at 22.5 - it doesn't seem to matter what his platelet count is.

Has anyone taking N-Plate had their white count increase?
Does N-Plate increase ones white count?

Thanks! (I'm too lazy to do a search).

Ann thank you - I will pass this on to my friend. Appreciate your help!

Just heard from my friend - he said to tell you thank you Ann. Also he said: "This is much more info than the hand out at the hema's office or from the drug company."

What is it if your red blood count is high? I'm on Nplate and the red count is consistently high (but not high enough to be of a major concern)

Hey Christine - sorry I don't know anything about N-Plate but hopefully bringing this to the top someone who does will see it.

I've never read anything about Nplate and polycythaemia, high red count. You could look up the causes of a polycythaemia.

This is quite a nice description and likely to be sensible information.
