Question about after Rituxan treatments

My hema mentioned trying Rituxan, since Prednisone was no longer keeping my count up. I was wondering how people felt after having treatments. I watch my 3 year old granddaughter daily (along with working part-time), & wondered if I would have problems keeping up with her. I'd rather continue doing so, as other child care alternatives are limited. It's either me (I'm 53), or her 83 year old great grandmother. I'd appreciate any insight.

I was exhausted the day of the treatment, a little spacey the next day but totally able to go to work. So long as you do not have a reaction to it, you should be fine.

I felt great the day after the infusions and went to work too. I think the Solumed pre-treatment was the reason I felt so good. I did have a fever one time the night of the infusion, but it was gone by morning.

I had no issues either during the infusion nor after. Hubby took the day of the first treatment off as it was suggested to have someone with me, but I didn't need him.
