So I started my prednisone taper today after only a week on 60mg a day so what am I in for, I thought my counts would have been a little higher than what they were, but my doc knows I'm over the side effects form the pred and I don't wanna be on it so he agreed to taper me and test in three weeks as long as I don't see symptoms like I did before. So what can I expect. I am the type of person who is pissed off because I get direct answers and I know that everyone is different. I'm a 32 old mother of 4 and I'm healthy in every aspect but this ipt and it pisses me off@!!!!!

Side effects depend on how fast you taper. Since you've only been on it for a short while, it might not be as bad for you as it is for someone who has been on it longer. What dose did you go down to?

Anyway, withdrawal can include: extreme fatigue, muscle pain, joint pain, depression, muscle weakness, headaches, etc.

Nobody likes Prednisone. It is a horrible drug with many side effects. No point in spending time feeling angry. It only wastes time that you could be enjoying.

That's a pretty good drop in prednisone - hope you do ok.

ya i thought so i dont go for a count for three weeks unless i see my symptoms i am suppose to call
