Ok been sooooo busy with work... after IVIG's topped out at 132k then 54k and last week 38k. Recheck on Thursday and regular doctors on Wednesday, going to talk about CT (for headaches). Back on pred 30mg, a d I just lost 5lbs from the week before and that same day they up the pred.

Oh and the pred (never had this problem before) getting very aggressive, very easily. I have an rx for Xanax (which I'm going to see gp on Wednesday to talk a about this issue).

I forgot to mention the fact that prior to the 9 years of being treated for Lupus, I went through 8 years of ITP treatments. That has added to the problems, I'm sure. None of us knows what the future holds, so thinking that you have to do whatever it takes to fix ITP can contribute to any future problems that you might end up with. Yes, people with ITP have to treat at times, just be sure that it's not treatment overkill trying to maintain normal counts.

Dee Dee, I hope your friend becomes more of an advocate for herself. You're a good friend for trying to make that happen.
