  • I'm 31 years old and a mom to two awesome little boys, I was diagnosed with itp when I was 17 years old. With no treatment my counts are 0-5 I am currently on nplate and I had a splenectomy in 2004

So I get ivig weekly anywhere from 90-120,000 mg I was on nplate but due to pregnancy got put on ivig I have noticed if after a week my platelets are I'm the 20's the ivig doesn't work as well I only get a small rise but if I start from 5 or under after a week it seems to shoot up to like 40 over night anyone have a similar experience or know why? My drs think I'm nuts even after trying to prove my point lol
