Hey all,

I on currently on Promacta 25mg daily. I have been on Promacta for about 6 weeks now, maybe longer.

I am aware of the the official side effects but was wondering what side effects people here have experienced and how long they suffered with them after they came off Promacta.

I personally haven't had any. I have been on 50 mg, 25 mg and 12.5 mg. I'm on 25 mg currently. I've been on it since October and have had monthly liver checks all normal.

Do you have any side effects?

I have been on Promacta since 4/23 and I alternate between 50 and 75mg every other day. I have recently been experiencing a pretty significant amount of hair loss. I don't have any bald spots, I can just tell it's thinning around my hairline and I have noticed my ponytail is much smaller. Is anyone else having a problem with hair loss?

I used Promacta at 75mg for a year, then 50mg for two years. It had the least side effects of anything I've used. Not even memorable, I'd have to look at my notes from back then.
I did not notice anything changing when I stopped taking it two years ago. Well, other than my count dropping below 4k within a week.
