Hey all

4 days ago I was put on 80mg of preds due to my count being at 5

The last time I wss preds I suffered from pretty bad mood swings and a insane appetite.

This time its a lot different. My mood is fine and my appetite is like before but man I feel terrible. I get bouts of really bad fatigue thought out the day a bad muscle aches.

Anyone else get fatigue and muscle pain on preds?

I usually got fatigue and muscle pain during the taper. On the higher doses, I was really wired. It's only been four days though so things could change. No matter what the side effects are, they sure do stink!

Well seen my Hemo today and my count is is upto 19.. yay :cheer:

Prednisone is doing its job.

Need to do another week at 80mg and if all being good she will start to lower the does

The most I've ever been is 50. And my wife likened my mood to that of the Incredible Hulk. :evil: It took time for me to fully become aware that I had even acted like that. I also ate everything in sight.

The first time I was on preds a few years ago my moods were all the place as well as my appitate but I didn't get any other symptoms.

This time round I'm a mess lol.

My moods are so far okay but my appitate is insane, my stomach is all over the place, my face just aches all the time and my joints also ache.

I am suffering from bouts of fatigue as well

However my hemotologist is not worried as whilst I am getting lots of negative symptoms, none of them are severe.
