Hello fellow PDSA's
Thought I might ask if anyone has had the same sucess as I have had with N-Plate? I have had ITP for a little over a year and was unsucessful (Ave Platelaet Count 5-15) in responding to treatments (Prednisone, IVIG, Promacta, Rituxan) until N-Plate. Since Nov I have recieved once weekly SQ N-Plate and acheived Platelet counts above 130 the last 6 weeks. The only concern is the counts do vary 30-40 points some weeks, but maybe thats to be expected?

Droberts,

Nplate was successful for me. However, I was all over the place (all above 50). I would be at 90, then 250, then 59 etc. much more than 30-40 points. My hema thought Promacta would be more stable but still all over the place. Hey, as long as I'm at safe counts and feeling good we're not too concerned after 15 months. I think it's just what my body does.
