Does anyone have issues with platelet levels dropping as a result of being on antibiotics? I used to be able to take a variety of them and no longer can since being diagnosed.

Everyone is different. Some people find that their counts go up with a certain antibiotic and some people experience a drop. My counts dropped twice due to Amoxicillin but have gone up with other antibiotics. For some people, antibiotics don't affect counts at all.

I don't recall ever having my count drop due to an antibiotic - I'm limited in what I can take due to allergies to antibiotics and penicillin so lately the antibiotic of choice has been doxycycline.
