Well, 4 weeks post Platelet transfusion and count was 109k. Reason for the trasnfusion was due to counts at 5k.

I believe Dean said he wasn't on medication, but I could be wrong. Regardless, that's great news!

Diagnosed: August 2013, lowest count 2k.
Treatments: IVIG, Prednisone, transfusions.
Current Count: 233k, 12/23/2013.
Currently: Watching/waiting.

No medication!! Pretty sure this drop was due to a virus (one side of my throat was sore) and unnecessary stress.

I think there was some divine intervention with the initial batch of Platelets that were ordered for me. I was told that the Platelets that were ordered for me were needed for someone else and another batch was being sent for me.
