I saw this on a TV show this morning. It is not yet available, but could be very useful for ITP patients.

Yeah, it's really interesting. Vets are using it now for animal surgeries. The guy that invented it is 20 years old.

It would be cool if they could make it into a nasal spray to stop nose bleeds. Pretty handy to have on hand if counts are low.

Now you're talking! Nasal spray would be great to have on hand - in my case, after 2 emergency trips to the city (2.5 hours), several hours in emergency, having nose plugged (ouch!), various doctors quizzing my situation, being put in cardiac ward for lack of beds, being prescribed steroids by disapproving doctors because I refuse to let go of my spleen . . . the whole experience is overwhelming & exhausting.
I will be following this development keenly.
