I get platelets if they are under 10k. The doctor said he would have hospitalized me but we are doing what he would do if I was in the hospital.

Just hope the treatments start to kick in and trying not to feel stressed (its hard 19k to 4k) how can you not be a little stressed.

I feel like I am at a dead end! just don't know what to do!

I know it's hard, but hang in there. When you're down, you must pick yourself up. Try to do something, like go out for a movie or go out and have a nice lunch/dinner to let give yourself a couple of hours of away from it all.

Sometimes, I just want to stop going for my labs or to the dr's appointments. I get so tired of it that I just want to be in ignorance bliss...

I have an 8am appointment with infusion center and hope to meet up with an old friend from high school. Red Lobster.....

Yes sometimes I just want to say (the hell with it) but I pick myself up and keep going. Today is just a depressed day and I am normally not like this.

I didn't feel good yesterday and counts 19k??? Felt good today and 4k??? I just don't get it, if I feel bad good number and if I feel good bad numbers....???

Just want to crawl into a hole today, but I will go home and put in movie that will put me in a better mood...

Yea, last week was bad for me...my counts keeps dropping, my dr wants to see me this week since it has been dropping for 2 weeks...doesn't he understand that that I've been sick???!! Then later that day, my van died, had to get it towed to the dealership (they found that my alternator is bad, oil leak in the timing belt, battery cell is defective), then my laptop crashed...had to get a new hard drive, then Saturday, my AC went out (still waiting to get that fixed), I live in TX, it's so hot and humid here!!! Then my cell phone died, had to get a new one...so I'm asking to myself, what is going on here!!! ALL in one freaking week???!!! I'm just waiting for the next ball to drop...

Amber,

May the force be with you and may the odds be ever in your favor. Tomorrow is a new day, and it's a chance for your counts to rise. Just because they are so low now doesn't mean that they will continue to stay this way.
