At what dose did you experience nausea? Did you have any vomiting?

Hello Sandi, I was only on 50 mg a day and had nausea immediately getting worse and worse until vomiting took over after about 6 weeks. I remember it well as I felt so ill. I actually came home from work early one day because I felt so bad and I was never one for taking time off work for ITP. I stopped taking the drug and refused to do try again.

Hmmmm. I remember that it made you really sick, so I've been expecting it. I was on 50 mg's for the last 8 weeks and had no problems. It's been bumped up to 100 mg's as of two days ago, and still no problems. The goal is to get to 150 mg's. I'm sure the side effects can be cumulative, so I may not be in the clear yet.

Did you find that you got nauseous a few hours after taking it? I take it before bed to try to avoid that. Not sure if it makes any difference.

I have been on 100 mg of imuran for a couple of years. I have had absolutely no problems with it.

Hope it works out for you, Sandi!

I have had GERD for about 17 years, so I fully expected to have problems with Imuran. I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to do for me, so I don't know if I'll even know that it's working out. :S

Well, after two weeks on 100 mg's, the nausea hit. Seems to be only when I eat though, so I'll just stop doing that and I'll be fine!

I know, a bit unrealistic. I didn't take it last night because I have a senior picture shoot today, can't afford to feel like that today. I might start doing alternate doses to see if that helps.
