This is my fourth round of Rituxan in two years. Every time I go through the treatments the results last less and less time. The very first treatment I had uncontrollable coughing. After my initial dose I did not have any reactions. This last set of doses were really hard on my body. The first was fine, the second I got really nauseous and had to get Zofran and Benadryl in the middle of my treatment. 3rd treatment I woke up in the middle of it and was not very coherent and felt like I was really drugged. Every sounds was amplified. I though a bomb had gone off and it was just someone opening a garbage can. The last infusion the nurse had to slow down and give me more Zofran and Benadryl because I got so sick. My Hemo says my body will prob. not tolerate any more rounds if my platelets drop again. I have read a lot of topics and posts here about Rituxan and have not come across anyone else with these side effects before. I was wondering if they are from the Rituxan and if anyone else has had these side effects before...?
