PROMACTA (eltrombopag) Tablets was created by plustig
I recently happened upon this treatment for ITP, PROMACTA (eltrombopag) Tablets and I was wondering if anyone has used it and what your experience was. My platelets keep going up and down between 0 and 5000 for the last few months. I have been on prednisone and it had no impact and I have had IVIG and it only brings me to 12000 and then I crash within a week. I am not interested in having my Spleen removed or doing Rituxan. I am working with a homeopath and I would something to get my platelets up to 50000. It looks like this could do that. Any experiences with this drug would be appreciated.

Many people have tried Promacta. I'm sure there are many threads that you could search. Sometimes it is successful and sometimes it is not.
