I hear voices on Dexy-- its like 100 people talking at once while I'm lying in bed trying to go to sleep- ugh, not so fun as castles and panthers. They say one of the side effects is psychosis- yes, true! And I took only 20 mg. for 4 days. But as was said, I knew it was the drug so I guess I hadn't completely lost it. I was always aware and thinking "I hate this &%$@*!" all the while.

Yes, along with the light bulb, we also have the dark cloud, which is what I experienced when coming off Dexy. I was so depressed that there was a tangible darkness around me. I felt a sense of hopelessness, isolation, zero motivation. That lasted for one day then lightened up.

OK.......since last visiting this site my N plate doses have been increased to 10 mcg/kg with no increase in platelet count. Today's count was 4000. SO........we also started rituxin! Nothing seems to work. Can't keep my count above 5000. Blisters in mouth, bruises all over, decadron is making me nuts! Anybody have a suggestion? or similar experience that I can draw on?

OK...second dose of 10 mcg of Nplate. Doc says I can't go more than 4 treatments at 10. what happens then? Also has anyone tried to change their diet to combat these low platelet counts. Even with rituxin and n plate mime won't budge over 3-5000! Any suggestions?
