Hi i been really weak and fatigue so today i had a appointment with Endocrinology and he told me that all my symptoms are they side effect of taking prednisone , and i knew this before because i read this on this page, my question is if one of you guys ever took this medication Hydrocortisone and if help . thank you

Hydrocortisone is another corticosteroid like Prednisone. What is the reason behind taking it?

My doctor told me that it will help me, because i been really tired and weak so i guess will give me some energy.

But it's not an energy pill, it's another steroid with side effects. You might be better off going back to a small dose of Prednisone and tapering slower. Everyone goes through this....it eventually ends. Tapering too fast can make it worse.

so its better not to take the Hydrocortisone and go back to prednisone i will email my doctor and see what else can they do because i really dont want to take any. thank you Sandy

You could just wait it out. The effects will go shortly and you'll soon be back to normal. If you take more steroids of either sort, you'll simply prolong the weaning off time.

I'm not your doctor and can't tell you what to do. You have to do what you think is best. But we've all been through that and it does end. It's just part of taking Prednisone.
