Hey guys nplate question again sorry

Ok quick overview again I'm 26 I have had itp since I was 17. I have tried everything ivig works short time for me but I want to save it for when and if I am able to have a baby. Steroids rituxin splenectomy all done was on nplate from 2010 to 2011 but had a stroke in 2011 due to my dr keeping my counts over 200,000. I started nplate two weeks ago again I have thought about not treating at all but when I hit 2 micrograms my platelets went up to 36 I was very happy about that since last time I had to go to eight and the pain was unbearable. Does anyone body just hurt like hell in this stuff? And my headaches are terrible but I can't take anything but Tylenol and it does nothing. Any suggestions? I appreciate any answers I just don't know if I'm doing the right thing but its so nice not having petechiae all over my body all the time

hi, im also on nplate and i just got my third dose.
i started having a minor headache a few days ago and sometimes at night it gets worse, i think its a "normal" side effect.
what kind of pain do you have? i sometimes have some pain in my joints but its not that bad.
i got my third dose yesterday in my arm, and i now have a blueish with red dots circle of 4cm diameter around the area i got the shot. have you ever had that?

It's normal to bruise at the injection site if you have a low count. I found the injections in the arm really painful and now inject in the abdomen area but still often get a bruise there.

I've never had any side effects myself but headache is common. If it's too troublesome there's always Promacta (Revolade) to try which works in a slightly different way.

This is going to sound ridiculous but I swear by it I used to get the shot in my arm the first few times and the headaches were terrible so I now get the shot in my butt which was the nurses idea and I swear it helps with headaches. The pain I get is muscle spasms all in my legs I can see them leg pains if I sit on the floor or in a hard chair my whole bone And back hurt like hell when I first got nplate in 2010 the headaches neck aches ear aches my whole head just felt filled with something that's why I moved where the shot was put in and because there's not a huge bruise on my arm just my butt lol

Oh and also I tried promacta already didn't work

I was wondering if medical marijuana would help with headaches? I have had a few people tell me to try it. I got the worst headaches with ivig. If Nplate does the same I wonder if it would help? I have never tried it, but at this point I an considering it. If anyone has tried this, or knows of anyone who has please let me know.

the headache your describing, i had that like 3 days ago. it was really terrible. but the past 2 days i dont feel a thing.
i guess it comes and goes
