Winrho black box warning new? was created by KittieG
Hey guys!

My hematologist told me the clinic didnt want to order Winrho for me because there was a new black box warning.

Anyone heard about a "new" black box warning? I know there was one one there before (can't remember what it said) but is there a new one?

That's what I thought - the one about kidney failure. Nothing new. I did two rounds of it last summer and it was very easy for me to take.

I wonder why my hematologist office doesn't want to order it? Weird.

Some hemo's are backing away from it because of the black box warning. It's possible that they just found out about it...I don't know. It seems to me that new info comes out all the time but some docs don't find out for a few years.
