That does sound confusing. Nplate is supposed to be used once a week. The dose is supposed to be adjusted so that the count is about 50. The same is true of Revolade except that it is a once a day tablet. If your count is 313 then you shouldn't be taking either Revolade or Nplate as on those drugs with a high count there is a risk of clotting problems. Maybe your count went so high with Nplate that the doctor doesn't want to use it again. But you could use it less often with monitoring and see if once a month is enough or so.

What was your count before the Nplate? How long have you been taking mycophenolate and danazol?Personally I wouldn't take both those two together but I expect that's down to individual doctor's preference. But it does rather sound as if the doctor is just throwing treatments at you instead of working through them one at a time to find what works for you.

As for smoking, my understanding is that smoking can also cause clotting problems but I'm not a smoker so haven't looked into the risks of it at all.

Hi ann, I was on danazol ang myco for 3 months now, and I take n plate two times for two weeks, nefore nplate my count was very low it was only 3 then after i took nplate my count become 94 then the last time becomes 313, I also clarifies this to doctor that my count was 313 and still he told me I need to take the revolade otherwise I will be having a bleeding, my dosage for revolade was 25mg daily, this is the 2nd day I take revolade hopefully nothing happened to me before 2nd of Sept. Im afraid not to follow my doctor because I dont want any bleeding again.

He said nplate will last only for ten days. Thats why I need to drink the revolade.
