I started NPlate last Friday. No side effects to speak of. The usual insomnia and a little muscle pain, nothing I can't handle! My count at the time was 10. Went this morning and it's up to 11! LOL. I'm thinking it's not really from the NPlate, just a fluke. I dunno though, we'll see on Thrusday when I go for count again.

  • Take a look on the Amgen site, I'm their "poster girl", if you will, for Nplate. It's kind of a nice video, probably tells my story as well as I could here.

Give it some time hon, it's not always instantaneous and the dose might have to be tweaked. After many many many many years with counts below 5, NPlate is reasonably reliably keeping me in the 100-250 range- gotta watch the dose or I go too high. (Man I never thought I'd say THAT!)

Good Luck with it, I had my 4th Injection of Nplate on friday and it seems to be working for me so far.

I'm so glad to hear it's working for you all! I'm believing it's gonna do the same for me! Gonna get a CBC on Thursday and another injection on Friday. I can't wait!

I tried N-Plate for 16 weeks getting the minimal amount of Nplate in each injection. The resulant weekly count was erratic and unpredictable. During one segment, the count was 85, the following week 206, skipped a week of injection and the count dropped to 12. I decided to return to the Rituxan regimen on 1/11/10. Lotsaluck..........

Went for CBC this morning...count it up to 27!! Yeah! :woohoo: Got my 2nd injection this morning too because they have tomorrow off. Simply can not wait until Monday to see where the count is again.

ok...are you ready? Went for CBC this morning....my count is......123!!! WOW! I don't know what to think! I'm very happy it's so high, but will it stay that way? Should I go back to work now or give it a little more time? Why am I so cotton picken tired? I napped twice yesterday for a total of 5+ hours! I'm just a basket case lately. It's getting old!
