I have been on prednisone for 10 days, then a four day course of dexa... stopped friday night it is now monday and I feel like crap, foggy, light headed, anxious etc.. How long does this last? I am also itcy? Any advise would be greatly appreciated:huh: :huh:

I hated Dextramethasone. I had the 4 day course as you did. The side effects of the dex hit me after I stopped it. My head felt like a balloon. It was very swollen and uncomfortable. I also had really bad acne and felt like crap. It took 4 days for these to go away. With all that suffering, you'd think it would have helped my counts. They were 3k before I started the treatment, 68k in the middle of the treatment and 2k 4 days after the last dex.

I hope that you will start feeling better soon!

Hey there, I caved and took 25 mg of prednisone, thats what my hemo told me to do as I was on and off for 3 weeks. Man there must be an easier way than this. had my blood done this am so will be interested to see what it is at. What are you on now?

I had my last Rituxan 1 month ago. Tomorrow I have a CBC done. My last one, 2 weeks ago was 179k. So I'm expecting good numbers!

thanks for the positive insite. I am still on 20 mg's of pred til I get my bonne marrow test back friday, then I guess they will decide what to do. I feel like I am pregnant, my stomach is swollen!!
