Hello,
I recently have moved, and in this small community there are no doctors qualified to care for my diseases. This is a hard adjustment, but I love my new surroundings minus the bear population. I asked the doctor here if there are any other medications that I could take besides prednisone, and I was told no. I have been taking prednisone for over a year now, and my platelets still drop if I use less then 15 mg. The doctors are trying to locate a hematologist to see me, but they only have teleprompter physicians if you need a specialist. So I am waiting for them to locate doctors that will take me as a patient. I feel so alone. This is a really hard adjustment after having access to any specialist that I ever needed.
