Rituxin therapy was created by tdecker
I have just had my first rituxin treatment last monday and am going for my 2nd one this monday. Can anyone who has had it tell me if they had any strange side effects in the days after? I have had embarrassing excess flatulence and bloating. I cannot really find anything on the internet to tell me if this is one of the expected side effects. I have also had a bit of minor dizziness. Thanks for any help!

I did not have those side effects after my rituxan infusions. Nothing intestinal at all. I maybe felt a little flu-like. I hope you are all better now, and that you see many platelets soon - Erica

I have had two rounds of rituxan the last one 19mo ago. No side effects right away but I am wondering long term. I experience minor dizziness, fog headedness. I do feel bloated alot more than I used to. Do not get discouraged if your counts do not increase right away. Rituxan can take several weeks to kick in.
