I had a similar start on Nplate. Up for a week or two then down again, increase the dose, up then down, increase.. until I got to 5mcg/kg. Then I suddenly shot up high and had to reduce the dose over time. Now after 18 months I'm on the lowest possible dose. Today's count is 115.

Even then when I'm stable I have my moments. Last August I suddenly out of the blue dropped to 8. Had to go for an extra blood test the next week and was up to 52. So yes, it's normal to be a bit up and down.
