I have offically been off steroids for 10 days. My blood pressure is not quite back to normal yet. How Long will it take for my BP to get back to normal after taking Prednisone which made it go up?

What is your BP? Everyone is different as far as that goes.

Sandi,

I have BP problems anyway and am on medication for it. But while I was on the Prednisone my BP was up even on the meds soooo I had to take two rather than one. Anyway I had switched back to one and my BP is 130/94 the last I took it. It usually runs with meds 110/75 or so. I have not lost all the puffyness from the steroids yet either so I just thought maybe the steroids are just not out of my system yet.

It can take some time for the steroids to leave your system. It could also be that your BP is changed. That sometimes happens. I hope it goes down soon!
