I have had 2 previous sets of Rituxan, last one 2 years ago. I am halfway through my current set and have had discomfort in my right side for several days with off and on diarrhea and gas. Coincidental? Or has anyone experienced this with side effects of Rituxan? I do have an appointment Monday and will check if this continues but just wondered if anyone else had this symptom. Thanks.

Hello: I have had ITP for about 1 month and have been on 70 mg prednisone ever since. I had my first rituxin tx last Monday and my next one this Monday. I have had embarrassing excess flatluence ever since but could find nothing on the internet that included this as a common side effect. I have also had bloating and minor dizziness. I just left a new post asking anyone else if they had experienced this.

I have had two Rituxan treatments the last 19mo ago. Not sure when it started but I am experienceing bloating and minor dizziness.

Yep, both times that I had rituxan (2005 and 2008)I had dizziness, bloating :sick: , nausea... and the second time about 3 years later I developed a UTI after the 2nd treatment which landed me in the hospital because I couldn't stop shaking and could barely walk, and the 3rd treatment I was told I couldn't have the drug anymore because it affected my heart (tightness and palpitations) and the ambulance hand to come and take me to the hospital.:dry:

Plaquenil 400 mgs
Prednisone 10 mgs
Imuran 50 mgs
Rituxan 2005 and 2008 (can't take anymore, body rejected it)
