Promacta....reduced dosage was created by weirdjack
Two weeks ago, my hematologist reduced my Promacta dosage from 75mgs/day to 50mgs/day. So....after a couple of weeks to let things settle a bit, I got a count yesterday: 45k . Okay, I dropped down a bit from 64k on 11-29. But hey, 45k is still pretty cool for me. It sure does beat the 4k count when I started on Promacta nearly a year ago.
I'll get checked again in a couple more weeks. We are seeing if I can hold steady in the 30k-50k range on 50mgs/day. I'd like to reduce the side effects a little. Promacta still beats anything else I've tried over the years.

Yea Jack! :) Glad to hear that it's still working. Gonna believe it will stabilize for you.
