I found I was very, very tired off the pred. That lasted for about 2 months. You might continue to have other tapering effects as well, like aches and pains.

If you aren't feeling anything by now, you might not. Most people have withdrawal during the whole tapering process, especially at the end (20 mg's on down).

I agree with Sandi. It isn't that last time when you don't take a pill, it's the weeks or months when you are getting down to a low dose.

I don't know - my hair didn't start falling out until after I was off it completely. And it fell out for about two months - and I have thin hair as it is.

The whole being super tired thing - I felt that during the taper.

I can't tell how big your tablets were, but it sounds as if you tapered rather quickly. It is possible that you won't have the traditional side-effects. When I've been able to go off pred entirely, the only side-effects I noticed were that my arthritis was worse since pred was the only anti-inflammatory I was taking. About hair loss--for some reason, for some people, it seems often to occur 2-3 months after the body has undergone a shock.

It depends on how long you were on the course possibly. I am seemingly only ever on them at full dosage for one week or two weeks at the max then about 6 weeks tapering off. The only side effects I knowing get is the moonface look which goes when stop taking them. I got very hungry feeling all the time which is caused by the red coating but learned how to control the diet with slimming world in UK so didn't put even a pound on last time was on them. The other side effect I got whilst taking them was indigestion. I didn't get any side effects as far as I know once off them. Every one of us is different and all respond different. Some don't get any side effects off them - like myself. Some do. There is no hard and fast rule of what to expect. Just relax and go with the flow and if something crops up then ask your heamatologist. It can be that easy.
