Hello

would anyone have experience with h pylori causing itp tell us about it

my dr gave me HELI-CURE, he doesn't know if i have it or if it's causing my itp , but he told me most of us have it , & it won't hurt taking its medicine , wight now i'm on its medicine for 3 days but i dont feel that my platelets have changed , the test for h pylori is expensive and not accurate in my country

so , if anyone tried the cure for h pylori & succeeded to raise platelets , would u tell me about how long it took & ur full experiment

Hi - I wouldn't say that 'most' of us have it. Many of us have tested negative.

Of those who have been positive and treated, a few, not all, have had a rise in platelets. Good luck to you.

thank u for ur responses

@ Sandi : my dr told me that most of us have it as Egyptians not as itpers

@ farida : if the h pylori is back that means it may be the cause of ur son's itp
i believe it's good news as someone here wrote before that he was treated from h pylori & his platelets were raised ,after a while they dropped he testes h-pylori again when it came positive, he was treated again & his platelets were raised again
please keep us updated

right now i'm on 60mg pred , 150mg imuran, & the treatment of h-pylori, wish me luck
pray for me that h pylori is the cause for my itp

i dont realy know if that's the reason , & i dont know what causes h pylori , may be pollution of water in egypt as water isn't treated as it's supposed to be , may be bad food , chemicals & hermons are added to everything we eat in egypt , but there are people in USA who have h pylori too , & i think they never came to egypt

?i used to live in nice city in cairo , which i have doupt that the water was not treated well , i don't think though? do you think the food on usa didn't have hermons or treated by firtlizers ,?who knows where is poulution? in Egypt or on the usa? you couldn't imagine the junk food our kids eat? , parantes are busy in their work, and kids has to eat this fast food, not healthy as we used to eat in egypt, i used to fix food every day ,but now no time even to cook, fast or frozen food most of the time , i had six years off work when i was in egypt took care of my children when they were young, now if you are sick you can't take day off unless you have days , life is not easy in the state,
