Don't know - but I was taking it. Then read that you take it when signs of illness appear so stopped taking it until then,

I read that anything that boost immune system is not good for ITP. But I am taking elderberry when I am getting sick. Have not seen any alteration in my counts because of it.

Depends where you read it as to how accurate it is. I never believe any thing that is not robustly referenced. Was it supported by up to date medical papers or was it in a magazine and pure conjecture?
