Meredith, yes my blood test was (strong?) positive for h-Pylori antibodies. LOL, besides that, I had been taking Pepto Bismal on and off for a few years before that test. Eradicating h-Pylori had no effect on counts. Nor do I believe h-Pylori triggered my ITP. The best part though was that I no longer need Pepto Bismal for stomach pains. Yes! What a relief.Meredith wrote: Have any of you been diagnosed with H-Pylori? Apparently is lowers platelets.
