I have been on Nplate for a little over a year, and I read taking it for too long can damage bone marrow. Should I be worried? I'm really new to all this just diagnosed a year half ago.

I know nothing about NPlate - but what did your hematologist say when you asked him/her that question?

As long as you are having blood tests regularly, generally monthly, they will know from that if there is any problem with the bone marrow because it would affect the blood cells. Also it's only a very high dose that tends to affect the marrow.

I didn't ask my hemotologist, I read about it on a website. Seems there is a lot of different information out there about ITP. Just trying to make sense of it all.
