just came back from my gp was created by porqupine
came back from gp he said my platelet count is too low 26 been there for at least 5 years before it was 11 since 2007 he finally set me up with a hemo doc here in Canada DR.Woods anyone ever heard of him ? thanks

It has taken 11 years for your doctor to refer you to a hematologist?? That I find unreal - you should have been referred to a hematologist back in 2007!!

Sorry I would have no idea about a Dr. Woods - but I just felt I had to comment about the 11 years it took to get to see a hematologist with platelet counts as low as 26k and 11k!!
