Platelet Visual Estimate Test?

Platelet Visual Estimate Test? was created by Wwfbader
Hey!
So I had posted in the forum about possibly relapsing because I found out my counts are at 64 about 2-3 months ago after getting a spleenectomy 4 years ago. I had another blood test last week that determined my counts are still at 64, which is a sign of relief - however something that caught my eye was that under it was something called "Visual Estimate (platelets)" and under that it had a count of 123. Does anyone know what this means? Hoping the 123 is a sign of something positive.

Thanks

I'm guessing here. The 64k may have been an analyzer run of the sample and the Visual Estimate may have been an actual visual count under the microscope. Did you have this done in a lab or the Dr. office?
