Symptoms vs Count

Symptoms vs Count was created by Oliver091117
I've been reading about all sorts of remedies and treatments to increase platelet count, but I'm not especially concerned about having a low count as long as I'm not having symptoms. I've been doing my best to eat well and manage stress (as much as possible) to encourage better platelet function and strengthen blood vessels, &c.

Does anyone else out there feel this way? What sorts of things are you doing to stay healthy? Is your hematologist supportive? What obstacles have you encountered?

My ultimate goal would be to get off the pharmaceuticals (unless I start having symptoms).

You might want to read through the Natural Treatments Section to get an idea of the things that others have done. I used to be all for traditional medicine but my views have greatly changed over the years since I began to do research. As far as any and all medications, I believe the 'less is better' approach.
