I wish it worked that way, Sara. ITP can also be a clotting disorder so there is a slightly higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. I know it sounds odd, but newer research is showing that people with ITP can have a higher risk of thrombosis than the general population, even with lower counts. It's good to be aware of this and another good reason to keep your spleen, if possible.
