Good Morning,
Have any of you who went through a round of Rituxan and Dex find that after your body did weird things? It's like my immune system doesn't know what to do with all the exposure to cold and flu that is everywhere. I am not getting the flu, or even an actual cold, BUT I just had to have an abscess the size of my thumb under my arm. Then got a yeast infection that won't go away with OTC stuff... and now... Thrush in my mouth. Seriously! What is happening?

anyone else have weird issues after?

Steroids can cause yeast and thrush, it's pretty common and I had the same problem. Try taking some probiotics. As for the abscess, it could have been a coincidence. I had one under my arm once that had to be lanced (horrible because I kept sweating and it burned), but it didn't have anything to do with ITP treatments.

I hope things start looking up for you!

Thanks! hopefully things will normalize soon. I am glad I didn't get the flu. Kodos to my warped immune system but I am ready to be normal again please and thank you. :)
