CBC today... seven weeks after splenectomy is 99k. Last CBC two weeks ago 123k. I feel good that my count is holding up. Before the splenectomy, without treatment, platelets were in the 2-10k range. Taking one day at a time.

Hi Farida
I had a CBC on Tuesday and platelets 77k. This is up from 73k two weeks ago. So almost three months after splenectomy (after initial high spikes 650- 700K) my counts have been holding in the 99k-73k range which I am thrilled about. I hope all is well with your son.
