Hi can anyone help, I've been on the steroids for about 3 months now but I've been having terrible night sweats is this normal does anyone else suffer it? Please help

Yes, steroids will do that at the higher doses.

  • ITP since 2014. Retired nurse. My belief is empower patients to be involved as much as possible in their care. Read, read, read & ALWAYS question medics about the evidence base they use.

I had night sweats until my prednisolone was under 20mg a day

Really so I'm not alone, I'm currently down to 15mg but only since Thursday so hopefully they will start to ease. Thank you everyone
