Has anyone ever had or heard of someone who has had, these two syndromes. So far I have only been able to find a study regarding one other person who did and unfortunately she didn't survive.
ITP is very challenging in and of itself, add to that the complete shutdown of the body with paralysis, on a feeding tube and ventilated for six weeks in the ICU and in the hospital for a total of four months, well you get the idea.
I would love to find someone talk to about the challenges this has left me with and ways of coping.
