Immunity Boost !? was created by xhemajl
Can someone who knows this to tell me , if the immunity of a person its increased , if the t-cells are increased , would be this the cure for the itp ?
I have read a lot about it , but i couldnt find an answer.
I have read that those who practise Chi-gong daily, get their t-cells increased four times more than before.

No, theoretically the T cells and B cells are too active with ITP and are actually decreased when using Rituxan as a treatment. The T cells and B cells are what produce the anti-platelet antibodies, so you want to suppress them, not boost them.

And i am very confused , why the new T and B -cells should take the road of the old cells , to be against the body ? Where its the main problem ? And i have observed to myself that in times that i am more stressed , my plateles number are decreased, the stress its the main factor to decrease immunity , theoretically the stress should boost the plateles , since it decreases Immunity ?? I am very confused

You can keep eating food with vitamins and taking Vitamin C. They don't affect the B cells and T cells but they do work to keep you healthy in many other ways. The immune system is very complex and you want to keep it strong. It has many facets that work in different ways.

Vitamin C inhibits various forms of T-lymphocyte death. T-lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell. They are an integral part of the cell-mediated immune defense system. Vitamin C helps to keep these important cells alive and viable.*

Vitamin C enhances T-lymphocyte production. these cells are essential to cell-mediated immune responses, and Vitamin C helps them to multiply in number.*

That may be true, I don't know. But the fact remains that you need Vitamin C to keep your body functioning properly. It's good to take it when you have ITP because it keeps blood vessels strong and they bleed less.

I found that : Based upon the rapidly expanding literature, it appears that the primary immunopathological cause of ITP is correlated to the proliferation of autoreactive T cells, particularly theupregulation of Th17 and downregulation of Tregs, leadingto the production of autoantibodies. This failure to maintain
tolerance to platelet self-antigens may be the basis by which ITP occurs..

The regulatory T cells (Tregs pronunciation: /ˈtiːrɛɡ/), formerly known as suppressor T cells, are a subpopulation of T cells which modulate the immune system, maintain tolerance to self-antigens, and abrogate autoimmune disease.

So the solution would be the balance between th17 and tregs .
