Just want a break just a little one

  • I'm 31 years old and a mom to two awesome little boys, I was diagnosed with itp when I was 17 years old. With no treatment my counts are 0-5 I am currently on nplate and I had a splenectomy in 2004

was diagnosed at 17 I'm now 29, started nplate back up after I had my son in November have been doing ok at first I was in 50s then progressively going down each week last week was 22 and that's a great count for me, with no treatment I'm 0-5. Have a dr appointment tomorrow and I just have a feeling I'm low petechiae in the mouth is usually my indicator and guess what? Lol it sucks!

Nplate does that. Just up the dose and off you go again. I just threw away, yesterday, the Nplate vials I had left from when I used it. I was keeping them just in case, but I noticed they were now out of date which shows how long I'd had them without needing to use it any more. It must be two years since I needed any treatment. Hope you get to that stage too.
