Just wanted to wish everyone a happy christmas and a healthy new year. You all really deserve one :-)

BTW, I have no idea what Dougies count is, but it must be ok because I havent seen so much as a single petechiae for ages now - this has been far and away his best year.

Thanks guys :-) I agree totally, an absence of symptoms is just about as good as it gets! I don't really care what the number is because its clear that Dougie has no problems at the moment.

Milly - its great to hear from you! You were around at the beginning of this for us and its lovely to hear that you are keeping well.

So glad to hear Dougie has been doing good, and no symptoms!! That's what really counts! More people need to be like you and not worry about the number so much--just the symptoms!

Happy Holidays to you and a Happy New Year!

And to you Dee Dee :-)

I think my attitude probably has to do with being the parent of a teenage boy! I remember another boy from years back (Tim?) and his mum used to be just about the same as me from what I recall. Teenage boys are well known for being bad at recognising risk and danger - thats a bad thing when they drive, but great for putting ITP into perspective.
