I have sever ITP ... Are there any symptoms that cause a hard, painful lump under the arm pit ?

No. Low platelets cause bleeding, bruises and petechiae.

Your lump has nothing to do with ITP. Anyone can develop a lump with or without ITP.

It could be connected in that the infection causing the lump could be the trigger to the ITP. Getting rid of the infection may not, unfortunately, get rid of the ITP.
